Accident causes chaos

After a crash involving four cars has now been reopened, one lane on the M6 was closed.

The accident happened at 8.20 o’clock in the morning on the northbound Thelwall Viaduct close to the Woolston junction 21. A lane has to be closed which caused major congestion, with lines of traffic backing up feeder roads nearby.

Fortunately, police confirmed that no one was injured during the crash.

Cars were also diverted through Warrington, leading to gridlock on Knutsford Road as they proceed to Grappenhall from the motorway.
According to police, traffic is soon cleared although drivers were advised to avoid the area.

On December 15, the Preston County Sheriff’s Department reported that a man from Vanderbilt, Pa died after he lost control of his vehicle which overturned on Route 7 near Masontown.

The operator was a 48-year-old man who was traveling westbound on Rt. 7 around 4:30 o’clock in the afternoon when the accident happened
According to the police, the mishap which took place at 4:30 p.m. caused both lanes of Rt. 7 to be closed for about an hour. The sheriff’s department has not yet release the identity of the driver.

In Monroe County, Pennsylvania on the same day, a Youngstown truck driver died after a crash involving three tractor trailers on Interstate 80 in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Officials stated the accident was weather related as it was foggy at the time of the accident which happened at 3:30 o’clock in the Monday morning in Monroe County.

Pennsylvania State Police stated that one of the trucks lost one concrete wall off its flatbed trailer which cause a reaction crash with the other two semis.
Officials confirmed that the 41-year-old Daniel L. Snyder driver died at the scene.
